It is scam like Apple. Over $500 for pro max rear glass and absurd money for battery replacement ( here it is surely over money equivalent to $300 for ipad battery service).
I dont know price of 4K oled, but QHD 120Hz Ltpo E6 samsung is surely below $100.
I doubt oled from chinese with "same specs" would cost less than $50-55/unit.

Hope Xiaomi improves their software and in India they have to come with 1-year Guarantee as lot of people had dead phones after software updates and customer care asked for money to repair that. People have lost hopes.

And now the screen will be the deal breaker... will give a few month for problems to start appearing like green tint, black crush, not true black etc.
We will see how the review go ... I believed gsmarena team already got the review unit.

I like how the 12 ultra was praised for it's design and now the 13 ultra looks like it was designed by 3 different people located in 3 different continents and the draft was presented as 3 pieces of paper.

Hopefully going with the CSOT (Huaxing) will help them keep the price down. Although not cheap it will definitely be cheaper than the e6 screen on the Oppo find x6 pro. I think the same price as the find x6 pro in China would be a fair price but I suspect it will be more expensive. Xiaomi's flagship line is selling better this year in China than previous years so they are getting more confident with the pricing. Curious to see if we will get all the typical global launch reviews tomorrow or if Xiaomi just gives it to the Chinese reviewers first and global reviewers later. Hope gsmarena's review does not come tomorrow immediately after launch. A more measured later review would be more reliable

rizki1, 17 Apr 2023HDR to be exact right? it's still impressive, almost 1... moreOppo x6 pro has 2500 peak HDR and in real use it's about the same as iPhone 14 pro, all 2023 flagship are more or less on the same level in term of brightness, all are bright enough to be seen in direct sunlight and that's the only thing that really matters

Well it's not the worst design in the world. Still wondering the layout. Let's just see how this will turn out after this.
