Anonymous, 18 Apr 2023What do you mean how is it ironic? They said it's ir... moreit cannot be ironic because apple already bans out of date apps, and now so does google, so there is nothing ironic about that, apple will NOT let user install out of date apps end off, sideloading may become a thing on apple devices, but there will be caveats

Anonymous, 17 Apr 2023Except android drops support in 2 to 3 year. Only recently ... moreAndroid might bad in terms of maintaining the security of their phone for a long time. But it's better in terms of maintaining of the app compatibility for their older version. You'll easily find so much popular apps still supports Android 5 or 6 on Play Store, but most popular apps on iOS needs at least iOS 15 to keep getting supported.

Nice step forwards. It'd be nice to allow a bit more customization, then I'd probably switch from Android.

"Apple's refusal to enable sideloading stems from privacy and security concerns" - ye, sure, not from the 30% cut in all the purchases...
If they add sideloading, you will see that the most important part of it will be that Apple still gets the 30% cut.

Kuba, 18 Apr 2023I wish just one thing in iOS: a proper back gesture like an... moreThere are so many things that make iOS unusable for me. This is one of many. Sure, I could learn to use an iPhone... But why should I have to when I know there are better options for how I want to use my device. Apple just needs to catch up the software. I don't understand why they act like having options is bad. I don't even hate the Fisher Price defaults. I just hate that you can't make it more customized by design.
