Anonymous, 17 Apr 2023Except android drops support in 2 to 3 year. Only recently ... moreThat is completely true. However... Assuming Apple doesn't intentionally slow your device with an update. iOS is already considerably more limited with a faster SoC on average. It's non-sense. I would never have bought an iPad Mini if there were actually decent small Android tablets and I would never have bought an iPhone if my job had more options than Apple or Samsung. Both of these purchases have been quite disappointing especially when you factor in the Stage Manager thing.

Anonymous, 17 Apr 2023I‘m more excited about third party Browser engines making i... moreIMO these things go hand in hand. If they add 3rd party browsers. Installing any app from anywhere. Make the UI scalable... This thing could actually be usable. But at the rate Apple opens up the iPhone, it could be 20 years before all of these things are possible. Once they find their next cash crop.

Apple : Sideloading $0.99/month Or $9.99/year
Apple Fan : Yeah, That Makes It More Secure Than Andriod, Apple Take My Money.

I wish just one thing in iOS: a proper back gesture like android. iphones are really unusable with one hand when you are constantly forced to click that OK, "Done" or "Cancel" at the top of the screen.

Maybe Apple will come up with a way to monetize on this too and try to save the environment while at it. Nothing is more scary when Apple tries adding useful features, it's like a criminal offering you candy, you don't know if he has ulterior motives or just trying being nicer.

That’s not new at all. Only new thing is that apple now has to build it into their system but it’s been working for over a decade using appdb.app

NeonHD, 17 Apr 2023The irony when Google just banned sideloading outdated apks... moreHow is it ironic? apple already bans installing out of date apps, you can only install the latest version, you cant roll back to a previous version, or you have to update accordingly to continue to use many of the installed IOS apps, they simply will not launch, not all but plenty

Finally people can download free version of youtube prime and so on and pirate games and apps and also play emulators. And be able to see which is best for emulators. Ofcourse. It being a pc and android exclusive thing including xbox one. I dont think itll run or do good at all with emulators. Unless the people working on those apps, actually optimize it.
Unless apple will do some thing where siri will say NO FREE STUFF!!!! PAY NOW!!!!
Then yea sorry apple users no free stuff for you.

Unlikely that iPhone users are interested in sideloading and stuff
