I have a 3 year old unlocked LG V60, and while the T-mobile got Android 13 early March, I'm still waiting. However, I will get it, just like I got Android 12 and 11. That seems like a vastly misinformed statement.

How is it possible to have record sales all the time ?
By these news i would imagine that if like year ago there was 1000 people who buy the phone in Q1 and then this year they have sold 1001 and it's record sales for Q1
It's just words play and numbers manipulation and i see this as fake news.
Actually when i look now that iphone 1 was 2007 and when they do the 5 years updates then year 2022 a lot of people bought there 4th generation phone and for 1 generation i would say 5 years as the updates so second generation started like from 2012 and 3rd was from 2017
So it's about time when most of there customers who had there phones for 5 years each will now need to buy new phone to have updates and there for coming this record sales of iphones as that dont mean they get new customers to sold these phones. It's just that the people need new phones who 5 years of support ended

Very few want to pay premium for Android experience and the amount of people doing that gets smaller and smaller every year, people just don't see the value in Android anymore in high-end devices and number one choice by very big margin is iPhone.

Don't understand what people are arguing about. The facts are clear, Apple is making a lot of money selling iPhones, and iPhones are the best seller in premium segment. You can hate or like Apple, but fact is fact.
Why Apple keeps making money? Because the competitors simply suck at competing. There's a reason Apple can charge so much and people are willing to pay for them.

Nothing to do with this, most iPhone users have never used Mac or maybe few times in their life, outside US people have grown with Windows PC and it's familiar to them, it's not easy to switch to something new, that's the real reason why most use Windows, if they actually would buy Mac they could like it a lot. For example i own iPhone, iPad and Apple TV, but i'm Windows guy, i've been very tempted to also try Mac, but it just won't happen, i've used Windows for my whole life.

Most apple fanboys dont even use Mac, they know its garbage compared to Windows. The phones are the same, but because they sell so well, they are more confident in their fanboyism. If the opinion of the majority is objective truth, then god must really exist.

You can tell how much is wrong with the whole smartphone industry when people buy iPhone 14 that has the same chipset as the iPhone 13 series. Also, the iPhone 14 Plus is an absolute joke, especially when compared to my current LG V60.

iPhones no longer have the huge camera, processor, battery and seamlessness advantage as they used to. Just look at the S23 Ultra and the Samsung ecosystem, just as good as Apple's.
The only thing iPhones truly retain is their resale value and support, though androids are catching up. Furthermore, there is no forced upgrade as on iPhones (eg apps not working once iOS version is too old) since Android is freer and if treated well a flagship Android could be very useable even a decade from now.
Apple just really isn't consumer friendly.

Anonymous, 05 May 2023What are you talking, billions use their iPhone with their ... moreIt is a pain in the ass to transfer files to any windows pc or android with an iPhone. Additionally, Apple screencasting only works with Apple TVs, whereas androids can cast to any chromecast or miracast.
Not saying it's impossible, but it's much more inconvenient and annoying than with an android.
