Xperia 10 V is so pricey that, i can afford SD 888+ of other brand's flagship mobile & Ready to compromise for display for punchole & also other brand's customer support is awesome.

Good in terms of battery and gear, and the battery life is long for me, which is appropriate, but the important thing is that the price is greatly exaggerated

The real issue is available not price per say. Example in Nigeria, there's no were to see any sony phone. So even if you want to buy, where can you get it from? that's the real issue sony should address. Availability.

I was "this close" to buying the Xperia I V but the selfie camera wasn't what I thought it would be. Skin tones were way off. Made me (Chinese) look like a white dude. Literally had it to manually tune it to get it remotely acceptable.
A serious pity cause the rear cameras were excellent.

The 10V like the 10IV is a disappointing downgrade. In 2 generations they have removed among other things the premium glass back, the notification LED, FM Radio, 4K video recording & the charger from the box!

Sony Semicon for now only has 2 exmor T ready to ship.
Imx888 ( this phone) and 802 (108MP 1/1.3"). No exmor T type 1.0 yet.
Nobody knows if imx903 for iphone is being produced already, some say yes while other deny.
With this new tech, highly doubt sony is gonna use type 1.0, when 1/1.28" exmor T will outperform 1" exmor RS.
Performance of 1" , without the bump of 1".
Since xiaomi is testing micro 4/3 , this means Sony Semicon may not sell exmor T to other any soon ( other than sony electronics and apple) , maybe just in 2025

Well liked but pricey = here's something that has all the features I want on a flagship phone but oh no the price is gonna break my bank account so I'll keep waiting/complaining about the state of the smartphone market.
