iOS 16 is now running on 81% of all iPhones

I believe the number of Samsung device with Android 13 (latest Android)is floating around 70-80%, because for example midrange Android Galaxy A51 from 2019 runs Android 13.

    It only looks like from Samsung and xiaomi, because both brand have highest Android phone market share.

    Your statement sound similarly stupid as saying like "no ABC random Android phone complain".

    Of course you never read/see the complain, because no one/minuscule people buy "ABC" random android brand, compared to highest phone marketshare like Samsung.

    Also never forget that iphone also facing similar issue (especially from older iphone), they just find the brand image enought to compensate the laggyness.

      I lost count on how many times I have heard samsung users complain phone is slow. From ppl that use for basic stuff like FB, instagram, youtube, messengers, phonecalls, videocalls.

          Obviously, user has no choice.

          It is " update at risk of issues" or " become unable to use apps".

          Gladly google does not do it. User has zero obligation to install any firmware given. Phone with android 7 ( 2016) runs more apps than iOS 13 ( 2019).

          For example, samsung s6 can use more apps than iphone 6s. Both are 2015 devices.

                      But are you really running iOS16.... Not necessarily 120 hz refresh rate....camera discrepancy.....iOS interface differences.....Pro models have much better version of iOS16. So IDK.....

                        I just hope Apple gets exposed one day or something so people stop buying iPhones and all of this Android vs. iOS madness can end especially in the US where I live lol

                            Except in America where it’s dominant. They just like it… because….. 😔 separating itself from the rest of the world every day…… I mean there are entire jobs in the US where it’s all iPhones, such as doctors

                            I mean honestly people should stop talking about iPhones outside of the US.

                              Unlike iOS devices, Android ones can still run updated apps, even when not being on the latest OS.

                                  Can the US and other nations enforce the rule the EU is also enforcing? Make software updates at least 3 years? This can help stop e-waste and allow people to keep their phones for longer.
