Chidoro50, 03 Jun 2023Why is that sad?Is sad for Android boys, because people have concluded that is better to have an old iPhone than a new Android cheap phone. And that says a lot about Android cheap phones.
I am expecting some "intelligent" person to come and say all iPhone users are blind and st*pid and they don't know anything about tech or smartphones. Poor guys living in denial, just because they hate a brand so much.

So what, you saw 2 people on the street with iPhone 7 and in your "wisdom", you estimate that all people buy iPhone 7 nowadays? Lol.

Using an older Android version is not the end of the ... moreyup, i usually dont update my phone after 2 years because in 2 years most bugs are fixed and ui/camera improvements are done. after that new updates usually create more bugs or other issues. im still on android 10 and my phone works great.

Using an older Android version is not the end of the usefulness of your device, unlike using an older iOS device. That's how I managed to daily drive with no issues an Android 6 device until 2021. Additionally, with Android you have the possibility of Custom ROMs if you want a more recent version (unlike iPhones).

Not just OS, we need battery replacement, SD cards, easy screen replacements, security updates etc.
But in reality, the correct solution is to end the Apple and Android monopoly. It's a monopoly because Apple users only buy Apple and Android users only buy Android. So there is no substitute for either, in economics this means both are effectively monopolies in their own sector.
We need something like Windows, that doesn't need annual updates. People used XP for 10 years without updates and still able to use all the latest apps. Same with Windows 7.
