If it ain't broke, don't fix it. These days the OS updates, just like the hardware updates, are incremental. Security updates are necessary but software updates are a preference.

Since I updated IOS 16 it destroyed my phone!
I have iphone x and normally it could work almost all day in one charge, and lately I was getting notifications for serious security reasons update your iphone, and one day I decided to update, but since I have updated it heats up a lot during usage and it drains battery in two hours or less!
This is absolutely apple trick to push people buy new iphone!
I think we all should condemn apple by boycotting their products.

iPhone users need to update their Phone OS updated because Apps drops support to be downloaded from App Store after 2 or 3 years after support ended for OS updates😅.
However, in Android, Play Store supports app way back to Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
So in that way, Android phones have a longer life than iPhone. I can use a browser say Firefox(support for Android 5.0) on my Mi A1 which is more than 6 years old and it will keep going on. However same I can't say for iPhone 7 for a longer time.

It's not a secret that Xiaomi business portfolio is quantity over quality, tho they sell a lot of devices but only profit 5% of it, not a lot but that's why they can sell tons of model each year, but of course with this business plan you are dropping the quality and support, if they have good support easily top 3 best brand in the world, but they opted for quantity, I mean it's hard to beat Apple and Samsung quality so why not just approach in a different way, if Xiaomi wants to go for quality they definitely can but to do so they'll be losing more now than ever before, plus devices will be more expensive

So clearly the situation wasn't always like this. Releasing who knows how many phones a year clearly affected the quality of software and update cycle. Hopefully things will improve with all this software update promises we are getting from brands nowadays.

We know iPhones are good but there are dirt cheap android phones with a good display, battery life and decent camera and that is where most android customers are.
You just cannot compare premium phones with budget ones, 2-3 year old iPhones may be able to compare to today's mid range devices with respect to price and other features but they cannot compare to a cheap budget phone in terms of price and while 5-6 year old iphones can they are too old w.r.t current battery and display tech in budget devices.

But, even with fewer released models, Xiaomi will still be average in software department. I remember the Xiaomi 11T/11T Pro models. Those were very poor in software updates (especially security ones), even though they were 400-500EUR phones at launch.
Bottom line, is always 50-50 with Chinese phones when it comes to software updates. Even for mid-range models.

My clean wage after pasing taxes And social And Heath care Is 35 000 CZK (1 482€). And i work modnay to friday for 7.5 hours, all Weekends And nation Holidays free And 25 days of payed vacation.

Also i am big sucker for cases And there Are So many avaible for iPhones. And also availability of repair centers Is bigger then Samsung. And for Chinese Brands? Almost no repair centers. Also sadly Samsung do not sell here its special editios of Galaxy S phones and does not sell many og cases and accesories here in the Czech Republic. Which Is a big shame in my opinion. And also Apple has Now 30% market share here. Samsung Is at 25% And Xiaomi at 21% And Huawei at 7% And realme at 3%.
