In the meantime, you can download an app called Batt that does something similar.

Stock Android have stagnated for years, worse on the tablet front. Samsung literally did all the hard work in bringing in features that Google will copy years later. Heck, look at WearOS. Google were so incompetent in software that they abandoned it, and later asked Samsung to help them.

Genuinely ask, Do people really concern about this thing?

Because I don't really care about battery health information status (mean you can see how healthy your battery is) as long as it can last me a day.

This feature isn't reliable, at least on iOS. I have two friends with iPhone 11, just the storage capacity is different. Their battery health is 78% and 82% respectively. The former lasts the whole day while the latter has to be charged twice to get through the day. The funny thing is, the second friend (82% one) uses his phone less.

I'm tired of having to go into the phone app, type a special code so I can access a hidden "control panel" from which I set the % at which the phone stops charging. Not to mention not being able to use the phone at all because you can't exit that control panel since doing that resets everything to default

Most people who would be dumb enough to get scared of that and think they need a new phone cuz the battery isn't at 100% most likely won't even know how to access this feature.

Stupid and misleading feature this "battery health" on android 14. Why the hell I need all that information when the most important feature of the battery health is missing which is restricting battery charge at 80%. Like Sony phones can stop charging at 80%.

Thanks Samsung for adding the Battery Protection feature since One UI 3/Android 11. It's very useful when using DeX for long sessions without overcharging the battery.
Google, why you are joining late giving useful features to stock Android?

Bring the easier, non convoluted battery history/graph back. It was available until android 11 and removed/modified from android 12
