A tiny phone can be a flagship, the Xperia 5 series tells us that. The Xperia 10 series is a superior product to most flagships. But u need the right specs. Like a choice between 6/256GB and 8/512GB, together with a delicated SD card slot and a 3.5mm audio port.

If we go by what sells instead of the polls, we would get the same answer, Asus needs to make phones with both SD card slots and 3.5mm. as well, and use maybe Dimensity 7000 series instead of SD8 series.
Apple sales figures are irelavant because they don't have any new phones with either 3.5mm port SD card Slots we can't compare Apple to Apple.
U like 3.5mm, good so do I. Note there are many people who cheered it's removal, many of these are also the ones whom cheers about lack of SD slots. Just because u don't need them doesn't means others don't. A good phone should preserved all legacy useful features, instead of useless new gimmicks like wireless charging.

Like the steps count that works when you wave your hand around and counts steps or when move around in 1 meter range and dont count any steps

For me i dont care is there are SD card slot or not as i dont need one and it's not something i look on a phone when i need new phone. For me important is headphone jack and the price of the phone.
I lived with 32GB internal storage on a phone for 5 years and didnt fill it so now i have 256GB and wont fill it also. I just make backups of my files and dont hoard data on my phone.
