I've used a phone with 120W fast charging for over 2,5 years and it's still fine.

You can see the more detailed answer on Reddit 6 years ago by FlugMe; https://www.reddit.com/r/galaxynote5/comments/6e4oq0/does_lowering_display_reaolution_increase_battery/

Also, PhoneBuff did a '1440p vs. 1080p Battery Test'. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ncPpM9tesPc

I would suggest that if you want a long battery life, then pick smartphones that are reviewed and tested for their battery life, such as realme 10 Pro+ 5G (149h), Samsung Galaxy A34 (133h), ASUS ROG Phone 7 (131h), and ZTE nubia Red Magic 8 Pro(131h). Or lower the game resolution instead of your smartphone's screen resolution.

Pumpino, 09 Jul 2023The 6a and 7a are basically the same size.I have both of them. When you have both in hand, the 7a is noticeably wider. I'm not sure how they did the measuring, but it's definitely more than .2mm taller as well. At minimum 1mm.

Privacy is good, but not at the expense of not being able to use my phone the way I want to.

If the charging speeds is still 20W then pathetic. 🚮

Waiting for 80W minimum maybe Pixel 11 pro it will be inevitable then 😅

sohail shafayat, 09 Jul 2023Same thing every year with different numbers, boring Until Asus brings a telephoto lens, their Zenfone phones will never properly take off. That, and not losing features that their predecessors had. They should've replaced the selfie camera with a 12 MP one that has Dual Pixel PDAF or better; and utilise the Dual Pixel PDAF that the ultrawide sensor already has. Literally, the loss of the autofocus on the ultrawide makes no sense when the new sensor already has Dual Pixel PDAF. All they need to do is to make the software utilise it, that's it.

In its current state, the Asus Zenfone line is really uncompetitive with anything. They should also remove the gimbal OIS, as it does not help photos at all. Either that, or somehow combine it with lens-shift OIS and/or sensor-shift OIS, where the other two are used for photos while gimbal OIS is deactivated and then deactivate the other two while using gimbal OIS for videos. In its current state, gimbal OIS has far too niche usecases while taking up way too much internal space.

Now I like my big 6.7" Google Pixel 7 Pro, because I have big hands, but I can think of people I know that would prefer phones with smaller screens, and they shouldn't be robbed of the full hardware suite just because they have smaller hands. That's why I like Apple making both a big and small version of their Pro variants, where the only difference is bigger battery on the Pro Max (except for upcoming 15 Pro not having the 15 Pro Max's 6× periscope telephoto).

But i hope ... moreAlso, without using additional space, Google could still use a 1/2.55"-type sensor for selfie without using any additional space on the screen, as long as there is no camera bezel around the selfie camera itself, like they do on Samsung phones.
