Weekly poll: how do you feel about Apple's impending transition from Lightning to USB-C?

06 August 2023
The USB-C port is already the default on Macs and iPads, but a lot of accessories (for both Macs and iPhones) still rely on Lightning. What will happen to them?

[deleted post]Man if insulting others is all you can then your life must been very sad and boring.
I can afford whathewer i want but why to pay more for a much worse device.
My Motorola Edge 40 Pro does a lot more tricks than Apple 14 pro max and cost less than half the price.

By your answer whats wrong with fastcharging.
Or you are one of those people who loves to end creved in a middle of a day with a flat battery??? Is this your passion and favorite part of the day because when your phone is turned off you have some quiet and privacy for a while.
Maybe you enjoy this but i am not that guy.

We didn't lose headphone jack because it's bad.
We lost headphone jacks in phones simply because it's good business - selling overpriced wireless headphones that are easy to lose, easy to break and should die in a few years of active use due to battery life getting shorter and shorter.

And it's a damn good business! Very profitable, according to wireless buds manufacturers.

It's not a regular USB-C, it's MFA USB-C. I remember those times when I had an iPhone - I had 3 original and 4 fake cables and none of them worked well. iPhone MFA gives a sense of insecurity and a new connector won't fix it

By the way wired is always faster than wireless.
And like you cant use wireless everyhwere same stands for wired.
Anyway only problem with wireless charging is heat.

I have no Apple devices, nor I intend to have one anytime soon - they're simply too expensive in my country - but I like the switch.
Many accessories will finally be common to Android and Apple, which tends to put the price down, not to mention more accessories being available for Android devices.

You tend to get a good charging brick with your phone and USB-A to USB-C in my opinion is still the best solution, as you can connect your phone to your computer way more easily.
