Shellyman Studios, 21 Aug 2023You're gonna have to wait til 2025 for a TSMC Tensor Pixel. Pixel suck
Xiaomi is better

    I Just Read, 21 Aug 2023https://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=12024&id... more"All S23 models come with a minimum of 128Gb onboard.
Some people will actually opt for the higher memory option that is why Samsung offers them."

They have to opt for more storage, because 128gb isn't enough for most people and there is no SD Card slot, thus Samsung gains more profit again, that is why they offer them.

Other than that, both the S23+ and the S23 Ultra come with 256gb of base storage, 128gb is only for the regular S23.

It seems like Exynos 2400 will be a powerful proccesor, with 10 cores, 2400 will be enough powerful to play any game on Google play. The problem its cooling and energy efficiency becouse an 10 cores CPU with highter clock speed it can be a problem with power consumption and overheating, Samsung have anyway overheating and energy efficiency problems. I think its best to wait and see what will hapend next.

I am hoping I am wrong, but I got a strong feeling this will be another Exynos moment like constantly before.

Even though Samsung Exynos is usually bad, I have high hopes for this one. Let's see how it compares to Snapdragon, though.

I understood cloud storage or external HDD was to back up the contents of the phone.

OTG means that you could use a USB or memory card with card reader externally expanding the phones memory

I personally own a vast majority of my music on bought for CD, this music I have ripped to MP3.

Not all of music ripped is on my phone but it is however ALL backed up.

Even though I have the CD so no real loss ripping takes time.

I don't have to access the back up MP3 as there is no phone failure I just add new stuff

Additional memory via USB, laptop or external HDD, I am not going to fault a person who looks at their situation and adapts.

Any comment on 10-Core or did you just see Samsung?

dfi, 21 Aug 2023samsung should try to make their SoC in TSMCThe improved samsung 4nm (different process then exynos 2200 4nm) is not yet out there. Absolutely nothing is known about how well it compares to the current process that tsmc uses. So before that good luck everyone with projecting some less efficient ( but other wise totally fine and cool ) exynos experiences into the future.

Probably gonna get as hot as the Exynos 990, again, and basically every single time a new Exynos SoC is launched. Learned from my mistakes, I will never touch an Exynos phone again

I still prefer to use the A-series phone than S-series

It does not matter the number of cores. We all got excited with the Exynos 2200 and the ray tracing AMD GPU. The result was a catastrophe. Samsung did not even bother to partner with a game company to showcase the capabilities of the GPU.
All Exynos chipsets have consistently underperformed against their Snapdragon counterpart. The 2400 won’t be an exception. I was thinking of upgrading, but if the use exynos in Europe, I simply won’t buy it. We pay more and get an inferior device.
I will only consider it if it outperforms the Snapdragon in both performance and battery efficiency, but I won’t pre-order. I do not trust Samsung will do anything different this year.
