The Zenfone 10 may very well be the last of its kind.

Make Asus new budget lineup, P Series maybe?
Start with P10- 6.5 inch hole punch display, 720p helio g88 and dual camera 50 megapixle, 4/64 combination And Battery 4500 MaH for the price of €150
P20 is similar, but an Helio G99 instead of the Helio G88 and an 64 mpx. Battery €200
P30 will have Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1, 64 megapixel triple camera and an 6.6 inch 1080p screen with an 5000 MaH battery. 6/128 combination for €250
P50 will have same is P30, but an 108 megapixel camera and 8 gb ram for €300
And lastly, P60 will have 10gb ram, 256 gb storage. 6.7 inch 2k screen. 5080MaH battery Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, 108 megapixel camera for €350.

It's a phone with lot of fan following. I see it often on sale as pre-owned even today and I might buy that or the XZ2 compact which is less than a $100 where I'm looking at. Just not sure how to get the battery replaced in case the phone battery is worn out, out of the box

    Betwen the Pro Max and Sony, I would choose Sony anyday. Altho is a matter of preference in the end

I use a moto and it's still going good after 3 years. It's my fourth moto phone so far. Might get a pixel or a Samsung as a next phone but dunno if I'll like one UI

          Against the 13 Pro Max it is obviously worse, and then it being actually expensive than it makes it a total flop

          Therefore, Apple discontinued the 13 Pro and Max right after the 14 launch lol. They already were expecting the 13s duo to outsell the 14 Plus so they just pulled it off shelves. Too bad for them the 14 Plus flopped anyways. Who would pay 1100 for a phone that's just a bigger iPhone 13 ahaha

            If asus is moving the zenfone team to the ROG. As long as they start maximizing the ROG phone hardware. And give us the ultimate android gaming phone. Then more people will notice the asus ROG phone.

                Also cause of the smaller size it had smaller battery even tough it lasted longer then other iphones but thats also probably cause of the smaller screen and less features and less use of the phone.

                I wont ever get me a iphone cause i dont like there locked garden and everything needs to be apple supported that makes everything more expensive and then the repair cost that is also expensive and your restricted to only apple shops and you dont have a lot of them around where you live so you need to ship it that takes more time and so on.

                It's also not a problem for me money wise but i just dont see a point to spend 700 plus euro for a compact size phone that will find use just as much a feature phone have.

                I am looking phones in a range of 200-400 euro as of now as i never had a phone that cost more then 410 euro. 5 years ago i wanted to get smaller phone but nothing was in the market to get in a range of that price and i wont buy year or few years old phone just cause it's compact. Now this year i was looking a phone and again zero options for smaller phone so my phone i got is 3mm taller then my last phone but screen size ent up like 0.68inch.

                Standard Samsung S series is smaller size phone just as large as Zenfone but a lot more worth to buy then Asus cause you get a lot more premium features and longer period of updates that in these premium price phones matter.

                With budget to middle class you can buy new phone every after 2 years to get new period or 2 years of updates and on your 3rd phone you have spend as much money as the cost of a 1 phone of S class or iphone while the 3rd budget phone is already close to the hardware that be the iphone or S class 4 years old

                Samsung S10 is around 320k in Antutu v7 so probably around 400k in Antutu v8 so that is on the range of SD695 while S20 is around same as SD778

                Phones with SD695 as of now probably have close to the quality camera like S10 had and phones with sd778 close to S20 had and a lot of them that are cheaper probably not half close the quality but still good enough cameras for every need the common user have

Even next year's flagship Samsung and Apple phone are going to have a price hike. It won't be long before they reach Sony level of pricing (although it depends on countries in question since Sony Xperia 1 Mk5 here in Malaysia cost exactly the same as the Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max 256GB).

                    Asus is selling more ROG Phone than Zenfone, so it's not really that surprising for Asus to make this decision. I'd dearly miss the 6, 7/7 Pro, and 8 Flip though, that rotating rear camera is still a slick idea.

                        Even tough there are still a load of people who buy Samsung S class or iphone that are same size as the Zenfone with it's 5.9 inch screen.

                        The market size for flagship is lowest as people dont have money to buy them while budget to middle class have ZERO option for these smaller phones.

                        It's just annoying to see people like you talk about topics where you have no clue and no statistics to fallow or proof your claims. Small phones are only in flagship premium high price range. Just look at the sold standard S class and standard iphone to see that there is market for small phone but the number is also small cause the phones are too expensive for the majority of the market.

                        Also there is no point to buy Zenfone for it's small size with so high price tag when you wont get a lot of premium features like telephoto camera and 4-5 years of updates

                          I know, what I'm saying is that iPhone 14 Plus is selling even less, it's just such a pointless phone with no market at all, it's more of a scam. In my country it was a solid 250-300 eur more expensive than the 13 Pro Max, which was still sold alongside it for a short time.

                                Another vendor that provided close-to-stock UI left (well, almost, if we don't count ROG). The only reason why I chose Zenfone over base S23 is because of the stock experience, and it's really smooth and polished, unlike most people here who say it's buggy.
