This is real software ... moreAs long as it remains decently usable, you could probably pass down the phone to an elderly person who won't need the most powerful or cutting edge phone.
Or keep it as a reliable backup phone.

With that level of support, I'd seriously consider one if the rest of the phone is good enough (not just OK).

Android 14 in early... moreOh please, finally someone other than Samsung commits to more than 4 years of software updates and people are already making quick assumptions and jumping to conlcusions, like it's gonna be slow to get the updates, or the company is going to be defunct..
This again, just proves how people can accept anything and everything as long as it's Samsung, as soon as it's not them, nothing is good enough.

Why the hate? Isn’t it good to see something different. If you care about fair wage, recycling etc , you can put your money where your mouth is and pay a premium for it, and if not you can ignore it. It’s a win win.

At least some company is trying to be as eco-friendly as possible. Had it been followed by other big companies, e-wastage would have reduced significantly.

It's still ridiculous that a company claiming to be eco-friendly decides to drop the headphone jack. It's not like their Bluetooth earbuds are easy to repair so that winds up with more e-waste.
This is pretty pricey but at least the longevity is there. If they do get this into the US via Murena, they better add more LTE/5G bands to support more than just one carrier with its sub-brands.
