It's worried that there will be a repeat of the 30-pin to Lightning switch when people were upset that their old accessories are now obsolete.

    I would actually BAN apple to use usb c and I would even BAN them to use even USB A or B and even I would ban them from windows!!! Because they are idiots

      haha. "Milling aluminium blocks have high waste rate". True. But they forgot to mention that 100% of that waste is recyclable so calling it waste is misleading. And the 3D printing isn't 100% waste free neither . Then we get to the US-C to lightning adapter, yes they most likely offer it but with separate purchase and Apple styled price on it.

Yes, i've destroyed a lot of cables over the years, but a cable lasts me for at least 3 years, some last even more.

If at best the charger is 50% efficient (which is generous) then you have 999W used as heat. Don't know about you but last i checked there are hot plates that use 1-1.3kw of energy to cook food!

                    People need to abandon the idea of brand loyalty. Trillion dollar companies being terrified of the idea of losing billions (think of the average Joe losing $5 out of his revenue of $3000/month) is proof we live in a clown world.

                          Too many b*tt hurt people around. Just buy a new cable, is 10EUR.
                          In majority of cases, you don't even need a new cable, because people already have USB-C cables around.
                          Also, people mistakenly think that iPhone users buy iPhones because of some port or another.
                          I am pretty sure nobody at Apple is worried. This arena articles starting to be more and more clickbait.
