Anonymous, 13 Sep 2023But to you charging 5000mAh in 15 min while making phone su... more*laughs in Oppo's SuperVOOC fast charging*

I am slowly losing my confidence in this website, I don't know why, but when I read an article about a feature of an Apple product, if that feature already existed in other OSes prior, the credit is not given where it is due. But mostly in other articles when another product or operating system's new feature is introduced, they always write 'similar to Apple' or 'copied from Apple' or something like it. Man, this feature has been in some Android phones since IDK. One is to slowly charge from 80 percent to full just in time for the phone's alarm and another is battery charge limiting where it won't charge beyond a specified value, like Samsung, Sony and other phones already had this feature before. It looks to me that this kind of writing is meant to provoke haters and whoever-had-it-first war.

"Notably, this is different from the Optimized Battery Charging feature as seen on some Android phones, which would keep the phone at 80% and fill the rest just before you unplug the phone as it learns from your charging habits."

iPhones(not just Android phones) already stop charging at 80% and continue later for optimized charging. But the limiting is new.

            Lol Asus did that before.

The Pixel 6a (and I presume other 6s and 7s) has the adaptive charging that limits the charge to 80% until shortly before your alarm time. Then it goes to 100%.
