Thankfully I am not an Apple user. All the exploitation, exorbirant pricing, rigid ecosystem... Just get a budget Andriod phone, all the bell and whistle functions are just show flat, it is hardly used in everyday life. It is just a phone.

All the arguments in the article have their importance only for people who really need these performances.
For most of the users, what the iPhone 15 delivers is really more than enough.
It's true it's only 250€ less than a Pro version, but I would prefer to invest this amount on bigger storage size or on an accessory than a better iPhone only.
To conclude, I would comment this: "Don't buy the Apple iPhone 15 Pro."

[deleted post]Anti consumer practices: Buys a company that produces wireless headphones, stops putting the 3.5mm audio socket on their phone to try and railroad people into buying their wireless headphones. I could be talking about Apple or Samsung with this one, most companies use anti consumer tactics to generate more profit, it isn't just an Apple thing.

Thanks for the heads up. I never would go near though anyway, like others the base model is basically a best they have mid-ranger. None of the base models are actually flagships anymore because all the flagship stuff is on the super massive plus plus pro plus plus models.

For me iPhones make no sense for two reasons: 1. No proper back gesture and force two hand operation. 2. Can't freely place apps on the screen where you want them, always auto arrange from top to bottom.

It takes courage to point out bad practices, by a company that is leading the industry. Apple has Shamelessly been ripping off its customers, more so lately. Luckily I moved away from apple long ago. Its the microsoft of hardware ecosystems.

When all these other smartphone brands can make their own in-house operating system, I think most of the arguments here would be valid. As it is, they don't.

Technically, apart from the switch to USB C for iPhone 15 and 15 Plus, there is no compelling reason for one to consider them and rather go for 13 OR 14 OR Pro models from last year. However, going for 15 Pro OR Pro Max is not possible everywhere due to the gap in prices due to taxes and other reasons. It may be lesser in the US so this article makes sense but elsewhere people will be better of going 13 OR 14 and saving some cash for all those iAccessories. The article looks a little incomplete to be honest with no mention of last year models as a better value purchase.

Manufacturers tend to do this trick. One year they do a step back or almost no inovations, just to make next years implementations more apparent.

apple usará are si brainwashed that 200 euros xiaomi's have 120htz screens since 2018....and the iphone 15 vanilamodel is at 60 🤦♂️....same phone for the last 4 years .....i would buy a 13....
but i wouldn't neeeeveeeeeeer.... play that game .....oppo meizu xiaomi vivo samsung honor ....and huawei.....are light years away from apple its laughable

I really didn’t like the title of the article. The author is irresponsible and wrote an unacceptable article. An iPhone is 10 times better than any other flagship phone.

It is the strategy of the apple for iPhone from past few years. Pro models can become vanilla models in 2 years. Yes budget is also a main point for buyers, you are saying buy 13 instead of 15 No it is wrong you will get dynamic island, 48mp camera, USB c and the best part is you don't have to buy lighting cable if it gets damaged. Old models always get at lesser price but u will miss many from new especially from iPhone 15. Are all the other companies Samsung, Google etc offering much better development from previous models, no all are the same. If u want to buy new iPhone vanilla model this year 15 is the better one with new OS.

It's true they're overpricing the phones just for the USB-C port. Why can't it have 120hz display?
