Kuo: iPhone 15 Pro overheating due to compromised thermal design

People those are accusing the Titanium frame as the culprit are far away from the truth. In a phone the frame helps almost nothing for heat dissipation. The main cooling is the vapor chamber attached to SoC and the back material and the Mainboard+battery. The frame contributes less than 10% for the best designed phones and for most , the number is even lower. So, at best the titanium has 5% less cooling. And the frame is mostly Aluminium so we can lower the number to 3%. So, the problem lies somewhere else.
.
Less thermal conductivity also helps. It will help the Frame to stay COOLER for most of the time.
Don't forget,,,,
Many phones are rocking with Plastic frame and flagship CPU.

TSMC 3mm isn't that good either. The yield is around 50ish%. So it would generate heat for that high clocked prime cores.

Could be also a node issue, some chip samples are of better quality than the other.

This is all wrong.
TSMC's 3nm is not significatively more efficient, and that was very much demonstrated at the latest Geekerwan's analysis, 3N is underperforming.
On the other hand, Titanium has lower thermal conductivity. NOT HIGHER. So The hybrid Titanium Chasis is worse as dissipating heat from the SOC than previous gen iPhones.
So its a bad combo.
And some bad writing from GSM Arena.
