« which in tandem with the higher heat conductivity of titanium results in worse heat management for the new chipset. »
I don’t understand. Shouldn’t a higher heat conductivity actually be a good thing for thermal management ?

Jman, 27 Sep 2023Yawn. This is a problem that has occured so often in Smartp... moreThe only reason why it's such a big issue when it happens to an iPhone is because of how reliant it is on marketing hype to sell.

They are designed only runs in short tempo 1-2 second or even less, then follow by a break 1 second or half of the bursts period, then it can do another bursts. Let's see the full investigation from any sides to yield what the root issue is.

This guy doesn't know what is talking about. A17 is 10% faster while using 30% more power (W). It simply is too much for phone like Exynos 2200 was/is. A16 was already at the limit for phone. Why Aplle decided for 10% speed vs efficency? So it is A17 flaw or TSMC 3 is mediacore

[deleted post]Tech world is a reflection of real world and politics. They keep believing in the "liberal" lies and agendas, so naturally they are easily fooled about tech too.

"The A17 Pro is built on TSMC's advanced new 3nm node, which is very efficient, but apparently still outputs more heat than the phone can dissipate."
Faulty SoC design, issues with TSMC's 3nm process, and cost cutting with heatsinks. Amazing.

Android users dragging apple like some Android phones haven't had the same issue
Bottomline : both android and apple has problems . Go for what you like
