I love seeing the Xiaomi/BBK fanboys cope and seethe at the 7 years of updates, when their boxes come with late updates and become paperweights in 2 years

Lovely Platypus, 05 Oct 2023IF G3 is not trash and IF there are no big heating/receptio... moreExactly my thoughts.
Hope the 8a will be lighter and a bit smaller so when it drops to 300-350 it will be a no brainer for most people.
Regarding the 8 and 8 pro...just get an iphone for the same/less price. Its sad but true. You can not sell a Fiat for BMW money, sorry but you can't.
The reason to buy a pixel was always price then software (now also GrapheneOS for people who want it).
Price is to high, software is ok but the hardware makes it a biiig skip. At least until now, lets wait for tests and reviews but I am not that optimistic

yohmartino10, 05 Oct 2023where do you live? do you use the Galaxy Note 3 Exynos vari... moreI live in Moldova, a small county in Eastern Europe. We still have 3G here, you won't believe but even 2G is still available. There are people who still uses dumb phones for calling and sms, so they don't care much about 4G or 5G. Anyway there's Wi-fi everywhere, even in some public transport so not a big problem.

IF G3 is not trash and IF there are no big heating/reception issues, they look fine. But NOT at those prices. That is just crazy.
Pixel is now more expensive than 15 Pro Max. That is just mindblowing that they think they can do that.

Google biggest company i request to please don't make Mobile Phones as they are useless you doing great in photography why to make phones when specs are not good no qualcomm, no fast charging of 120w, no dual sims, no good storage minimum should be 256gb not 128gb, no good ram minimum 18gb ram in a series and in other 24 gb ram learn from chinese, i think chinese people have achieved more that's why they are making good phones, you all are living in past before 4 years, 4 years old specs you providing.
Don't make phones launch DSLR camera that will work Mobile Phones will not work no service centers till now all will be done by ifixit lol.

Google has mentioned that they are using exposure bracketing all the way back when they announced Pixel 5.

fd-merlyn, 04 Oct 2023Again only 128 gb pixel pro for 1 lac INR and that too avai... moreOverpriced in India. They have no intention to sell it. Partnering with Flipkart is a blunder. Pixel series is only for hardcore fans. They lose value like anything. Next year they will be available at 50% price during flipkart bbd sale. Service centers are few and pixels have hardware reliability issues. If google is serious about selling phones in India they should expand by onboarding more retailers and increase service centers and price it appropriately. Even Apple is overpriced but at least they are more reliable. Any phone above 70k is not really value for money

7 years of software support is foolish decision (not needed). Any smartphone (whichever company it is) should be provided with 5 years of software support because after 3-4 years phone's hardware is already degraded to almost 50 percent.
New os code and application code is going to strain the hardware beyond it's limit.
