Google Pixel 8's Tensor G3 GPU tests show weak performance but decent efficiency

Its efficiency is comparable to the Dimensity 9200 (same GPU but with more cores and fabbed by TSMC rather than Samsung), but it delivers lower frame rates in tests.

Now, do you save a game, how long does the performance last in each one? I don't care about the numbers on paper, in real life those numbers are nothing, I'm sure the 8 gen 1, with all the thermal issues caused by Samsung's casting, maintains performance longer than that tensioner exynos. 3 that just came out

      Shams, 12 Oct 2023Who cares about the numbers when you basically can play any... moreObviously you can move everything!! but after 20 minutes the performance will drop so as not to become an aldente sauce in your hands, then the game you are playing will begin to flatter, as a former user of a pixel 7 pro, this happened to me all the time with the tensor 2 all the time , with games like pugb and call of duty, the latter is well optimized, something that never happened to me on an s21 ultra that I had before the pixel with the snapdragon 888... and I'm afraid the same thing will happen with this exynos tensor 3

        As you can see there G3 is like 10% faster in Multicore in Geekbench

          If you like to tinker with phone sd 865 can overclock adreno 650 up to 940mhz, earlier sd 870 struggle to reach those clock and later on Qualcomm patched all sd 870 so they can't be overclocked. So my theory not just clock speed even yield made 870 use more power.

                      Look how 870 aka 865++ is waste of time compared to 865.
                      Overclock is never worth.

                      Extra boost will never be enough to compensate extra energy wasted.

                                      So looking at this table I will buy Gen 2 phone next year for half of the price. Gen 2 will be a beast for many years to come, like SD855/865 back then.

                                        It's basically a more efficient 8 Gen 1.
