Microsoft Surface Pro 9 5G might not have upgradable RAM because of LPDDR5 RAM, but the M.2 2240 SSD is always upgradable to your liking.

Plus apple didn’t help in the development of Linux on M series cpu, and it didn’t provide any documentation on how the cpu is working, they had to study the cpu to be able to port Linux on the cpu.

None of these specs matter if microsoft don't get their shit together or linux distros can't fully utilize these because of closed drivers. We've had decent arm chips for laptops for years now, the ball is on the software side.

Hopefully in the future more services create ARM versions of their software, because I will switch over instantly. I absolutely love my thinkpad, but the battery is the main disadvantage (besides the display), especially since I'm a student, and usually go many hours without being able to charge. This obviously isn't an issue with ARM laptops.
Also, hopefully some manufacturer will create upgradable ARM laptops (storage AND RAM), since that's the whole reason I chose to get my thinkpad.

Consequences of abandoning Windows RT and Windows Mobile 10. If they kept it, they now would destroy Samsung Dex and forcing to use Tizen once at all, and also Apple would improve more and more than now.

If they don&... moreengineering students need something that is somewhat powerful, and i doubt these cpu's will run them properly and pretty sure that they won't work even if they were powerful due to the devs refusing to make them run on arm since not many are going to bother to buy them.
