well, M3 is coming too

Mediatek sux, 25 Oct 2023If its the same tflops like when qualcomm claimed .954 tflo... moreEarlier leaks said it's use same Adreno 740 inside 8 gen 2, it's just they improve lot of things. Like bandwidth is increased to 132GBps which is better than most Igp on market, and they double clock speed, so it won't be starved like radeon 780M.

Time to take over the Phablet Era with this X Elite.

it has to beat Apple M1 iPad low spec iPadOS Function, not lag behind.

Too little, too late. Looks like it will be the best CPU at 25W with about 14k points in Geekbench 6.2, when old M2 is 10k points at 25W, and old 13th Intel is 8k at 25W. But it won't compete with M2 Max/Ultra - not scaling well, needs more core (at 50W it's only 16k points).
Why it is not revolution? Because power at full load is not as important as power at idle/low usage and other components (display, ...). There are already a few notebooks with power hungry Intel 13th that last longer on battery when "web browsing" than Macbook Air/Pro. But most Intel/AMD notebooks are not made with battery life in mind and the same fate will be with Snapdragon...

yes very good but if the price is high its just trash ,because you can buy a rtx 4000 series ultra laptop oled with the same price this chipset make no sense if overpriced !

Anonymous, 25 Oct 2023Please do you any laptop that uses a Qualcomm based soc? I had surface sq3 . Also charts looked good but when the end product came , a lot of issues with compatibility, emulation was dead slow.
I think these charts are made on pure clean prototypes , under devices with win11 take away around 20% and you get a real thing. This is existing for everyone but Intel

If they don't need anything beyond Microsoft 365, then Windows on ARM can handle it just fine. Even Linux desktop softwares like GIMP and Kdenlive works well with it*. I bough myself recently a 8cx Gen 2 and I was surprised the experience is kinda good, the only problem is the lack of oomph for emulation and the increase performance can cover that single flaw.

If desktop app developers never bother with Windows on ARM because "lack of performance", then there's absolutely no excuse for it this time. Not everyone running around with MacBooks or using macOS.
