Their own protective glass, new hyper os, amazing screen brightness, Xiaomi doing great. Also 650€ for 14 pro? Who on earth would get Iphone in China instead this device for such great price?!

I heard it's an Omicron sensor. Hopefully, it's a Sony sensor. Yeah I'd rather still the 1 inch type but it's fine. At least this is more light sensitive. The camera stove however, is very weird. And not so nice looking.

Also telemacro cam on the Xiaomi is far better than what this Pro have to offer.

DVSeal, 26 Oct 2023Oh boy, 3000 nits. My phone only goes up to 750 and I don&#... moreThat 3000 nit is the absolute peak of the display reachable by a few pixels, I think. The 100% whitescreen brightness should be a lot lower. Plus, it has LTPO so it can dip the refresh rate to a pretty low value.
We already see the E7 on Pixel 8 Pro beats the displays on iPhone 14 Pro and S23 Ultra in terms of efficiency (3W @ 960nit), which is also about 2.12x more efficient than the E4 on Pixel 7 Pro. The display on these Xiaomi phones should be no less efficient.

Curved screen, camera bump the size you could lose grip on any vehicle for a moment, no expandable storage and likely no aftermarket support = 1 more phone for the bin.

The fact 8g3 supports 8K@30 dual exposure or 8K@60 single exposure is in vain.

All exmor R and RS are stacked.
Stacked means one layer above another.
Layer 1 is pixels + transistor, Layer 2 for circuits.

3-layer Stacked: Exmor RS with DRAM ( Xperia XZ Premium, Sony A9, Sony RX100 mark 7, Xperia Pro-i)

Exmor T turns 2 into 3, placing transistors between pixels and circuit.

                            So no 8k&60fps?😭

Oh boy, 3000 nits. My phone only goes up to 750 and I don't have a problem seeing it under direct sunlight even. Only scorchin hot and bright sun mid summer could cause tiny issues with visibility but nothing to really complain about. I feel this is too much of a overkill instead on concentrating on battery life and efficiency.

But since it won't be available in US, it won't have the necessary frequencies ever. I'm talking about n71 and b71. Also it doesn't have n2.

The **** market in US. Tired of those carriers.
