Most of the people who comment negatively probably wi... moreThis argument is so dumb. everyone can afford it one way or another, with carrier offers basically making you pay close to nothing each month for 2 years, even here in Europe where tech crap costs three times as much. Nobody with a working brain would buy a 1400 iPhone if they don't actually use the "ecosystem" (many, not you or the other user, do though and if they get criticized it seems more than fair to me) and they rightfully buy stuff that has actually cutting edge tech for 500 less.

    imma say it out loud i don't like it when apple does a great thing since when they do i instantly think of their bootlickers finding an another way to defend apple in every single arguement for the next 10 years. take it in whatever sense you feel like

        I just love the fact that Apple used a 15 Pro Max to shoot this entire event and then edited it on a Mac, Apple’s amazing ecosystem is just so darn good, even as I type this I have 2 activities in my Dynamic Island (timer and Music) reminding me how seamless Apple SW is. 😁

          DaFink, 31 Oct 2023Look there are certainly pros and cons to both Windows and ... moreI think the entry 14 pro is a good deal. 8Gb of unified memory are not as bad as on windows, the cpu and gpu are fast and efficient for most common uses, the display is top quality, the build quality is among the best you can find on the market, same for the speakers and battery life. And it runs always silent and cool.

I’ve historically been a windows user, but that is based more on my own use case for a laptop never being sufficient enough to justify Mac prices. So yeah I’m quite familiar with Windows own foibles.

                It still just seems wrong to me to release a laptop in 2023, then talk a big game about scary fast performance, then at these prices start with such low storage and ram configurations.

                I’m sorry I just can’t square that circle, even taking into account the advantages Mac’s as a platform can offer…..

Even the xbox one and ps4 beats the shit out m3 and pro and max gpu performance. Even if you are doing work windows demolishes Mac I will never use a mac ever again I made a mistake.

I agree that apple can win in laptops but for desktops it cant compete with competors.The power efficiency is great. But the apps they have is not great at all.

The MacBook Air is the most popular laptop in the world. Plus you can install the whole office suite on Macs for like 10 years. Lol. And it looks and performs better than Windows version. So many people on here bashing on Mac and obviously never used one.

They don't edit video or audio. Most people don't even know what M series is or give a rats ass about ram. I sell Macs every day over the phone. Most people edit documents or PDF and do normal day to day stuff. Students, lawyers, doctors, etc. The build quality and the OS are miles better than 90% of Windows garbage. No bloatware, no Norton virus garbage, and the fact that you can simply walk into an Apple store and get help or training if needed is huge. Try that with any Windows laptop. The value is built in and it's not just about specs. The far and few between that come on here and post are not the vast majority of people period. So may apple haters come on here and only talk about specs. My M1 8gb Air has worked flawless for 2 years and again never once felt slow or bottleneck by ram. I talk to people buying Macs every single day. A lot 9f students or people don't even need a base model Mac but work just fine on a iPad with keyboard.... Although that's not for me personally... I'm not everyone. Mac laptops on average last much longer than a Windows laptop at the same price and get free Mac O.S updates every year and apple does that typically for 7 years. Windows is a fucking mess when it comes to updates or upgrades.

It’s like we should apply some weird placebo effect and imagine this phone be feeling hot all the time simply because others (the vast majority of which don’t own such a device, and never would) like to tell us that’s what they think should be happening.

                                  If the 15 Pro Max that i paid for had anything even close to the problems you hear about online, then It would have gone straight back!

                                  That’s not to say there weren’t any initial and sporadic teething problems, obviously there were, but those appear to have been addressed. It’s also not to say that Apple can necessarily claim to have the most efficient smartphone SoC out there anymore because maybe they cannot. But overall this 15 Pro Max runs like a champ for me and that is what I consider important at the end of the day.
