I'm okay with Exynos SoC as long as they will get it right this time (CPU, GPU, modem, ISP, and battery efficiency), if not and it still can't go head-to-head with SD 8 Gen 4, then I'll skip and keep my current Galaxy. Exynos 2400 is good but it is not good enough to win people over the Snapdragon.

Nowadays scores in benchmarks are almost useless for the top chipsets. Today we need more efficiency and stability than raw power. Even the smaller lithography is useless making phones extremely hotter

If foldables keep Snapdragon it means that it's still PREMIUM.
Premium chipset for a premium price.
We know that Samsung would love to go all Exynos but the buyers won't allow it. What Samsung wants is to threaten Qualcomm of losing an important order (S-series) to gain a better bargaining position.
For sure it's not just about the S-series but about the ENTIRE snapdragon production going from TSMC to Samsung fab. If that move doesn't appear to be happening dispite Samsung offering Qualcomm "the world" they need to form a campain against them. This article is probably a version of that IMO. What do you think of my reasoning?
Qualcomm can definitely not keep flagship production with Samsung because it means that the product performance can be influenced by the competitor Exynos. That would be Samsung's greatest dream, to come out on top of SD8. If they could produce the chips then they could perhaps make it happen.

People who defend Exynos is really daft, yes we know Exynos is not totally bad, but why would you want 5 dollar when you know you can get 10 dollar the same way? Snapdragon by this far has been outrun Exynos, not just in speed but stability too. but it was NEVER ABOUT EXYNOS PERFORMS BETTER. Samsung merely wants to make the MOST PROFIT without sharing with Qualcomm, that's the only reason Samsung insist on using their own made SoC, Just look at Google with their Tensor, miserable.

To be honest, I'm okay having this kind of separation. If Samsung really want to prove that they got the Exynos formula right again, then it would be a great competition to have again. After all, it's not the first time that the Exynos SoC got popular in the flagship segment. Remember the Snapdragon 808 and 810 fiasco? Samsung saw the opportunity to build the right contemporary Exynos SoC, and it worked.
