It would be almost similar to iPhone XR model. Apple will not design a new body for next SE iteration. Else it will hamper their other iPhone 13, iPhone 14 sales. Point is simple to bring more people in most affordable way to Apple eco system.

Look at Poco F5, superior in literally every way except for brand.

Even obscenely expensive Pro Max (that costs over $1800 for base storage in some markets, even when base was 128GB) always make top 5 most sold phones .
Mini could not even make top20.

Although not all displays are capable to dial down to as low as 1 Hz, but even not every iPhone was capable of doing a such thing. They would start use oleds up from iPhone 12 and ltpo's from iPhone 15 maybe. But no one seems to call those older displays cheap.
Not to mention that oleds are not up to everyone's eyes.
And yes, ips lcd work fine with their 90/120 Hz. And neither they are stuck in 60 Hz for whatever reason.

I have never heard that people who specifically love phone cameras favor especially apple cameras and have it as fan favorite. Apple fans even praise the 100 bucks glass cleaning napkin like the next best thing even tough it's just a cloth that you can get 5 for a dollar without the apple logo on them.

I also thought that second camera is just a show piece as it was only 5 mp. One day I blocked second camera with tape and took some pictures and noticed that portrait photos are not working (no blurring), then removed tape and took portrait photos and it was working as it should. The second cam was used for edge detection.
Moral of the story - In simple photos maybe only one camera is used but if there is separate camera for dedicated purpose(portrait or macro), it is likely that it is not gimmick.

Mills, 04 Mar 2024Apple would use Touch ID (power button) just like the iPads use.No. It will use FaceID with notch. Apple will make sure the SE have the looks of older phones, aka notch. If it used TouchID, it will have a full screen display and might look more modern than the more expensive iPhones with dynamic island.
