Sluggish bloated of call-home Chinese PC government spyware . and hard-coded cheap low end ads.

Should be forbidden by law in the west. Buy at your own risk.

potato4k, 18 Mar 2024Have you actually used TouchWiz and OneUI? Totally differen... moreI've used TouchWiz since Android ICS era (and now I still use Samsung too btw, still hates the new control center lol), that's why I said that. Sure, I can say that OneUI feels more bugless than most of my experience with TouchWiz, and also looks more modern. But icon looks apart, most of the fundamental UX-style are not really different. Just like how they keep retaining the Android 4.x-style app drawer, even though majority of company (OnePlus, Poco, any company that uses Stock Android for example) already uses the scrollable app drawer that introduced in Android 5.
I also won't say that HyperOS is a extremely different change compared to MIUI. Heck, I can say that I still hate many new things that they introduced, like "forcing" us to use the separate notification panel and control center on newer models, or iOS-like charging animation (less distractive ofc, but very not original I should said). But I haven't felt any bugs while using it, maybe I'm lucky? (I'm using Xiaomi 12 Lite btw).

404, 17 Mar 2024So does One UI. One UI is just TouchWiz/Samsung Experience ... moreHave you actually used TouchWiz and OneUI? Totally different experience, and OneUi is a vast improvements and overhaul in everything..
Meanwhile, HyperOS doesn’t even look different than MiUI, and like I mentioned, Xiaomi didn’t even care fixing basic UI glitches. All the so called improvements are just marketing talk with no concrete way to prove it. All reviewers are simply rehashing the same marketing material.

                    This should be forbidden.

My phone took screenshots of my home page, at least once a month, since I found the corresponding image files using said app. Why would a phone make screenshots of your home page if not to send that, for some reason, to someone other than you?

I can only imagine what else, hidden, did Samsung send.

Let us be real. Google is free, Wikipedia is free, it is easy to educate yourself about things which are not even a secret, like the Five Eyes program. Do you really think Google, Apple etc., or China, Russia, the UK and so on, can be divided into "good" and "bad" when it comes to this? They all spy on you with ease, if they so choose. There is no privacy the moment you have obtained a smartphone, or a phone for that matter.
