      The price hike doesn't really matter since its a Pixel; you'll be able to pick it up for $350 about 3 weeks after launch

        So it looks like the pricing would be $500 / £500 / €570. Pixel 8 was launched at $700 / £700 / €800.

Cloud storage is cool and all but nothing beats the fluidity and security of having it on your phone. Google can just decide to jack up prices and boot you out, your account might get hacked or something but your phone'll still be there. Why do you even need 128 GB of storage then, why not give 64 GB of storage and still charge 1000 dollars for the Pixel 8 Pro?

                            I know google wants to make more money off of their phones but the 7a sold well because of the amazing value. Increase the price, you'll sell less. Especially when the price is this close to the pixel 8

                              Pixel 8 is cheaper now... So it doesn't make sense to buy 8a

                                  They should have lowered the price instead.

                                    A series started From 300-400$ midrange Phone to outright near flagship territory..

                                    As a wise man once said : " You either die as a flagship killer or live long enough to see you become flagship"

                                      The pixel 8 is already down to 550£ on Amazon. Why pay £500 for this and not the extra 10% (£50) for the 8?? The price is too high and too close.

                                        The example with some tomb raiding was just for fun, but i believe you get the point.

                                        No, usb flash is not any practical in comparison to dedicated sd card slot at all.

                                        What I'm trying to represent is my vision of this useful option with various use scenarios, but I'm not directing anyone here by no means. Thanks. 🌜
