Because Apple is a huge baby who cant play fair with others and they had a grudge against Epic Cames from the past and now they want to punish someone for their greedy bs as they cant go against EU laws. Next up EU ban Apple for good most greediest peace company in the galaxy who can't take their own medicine

Without iOS, Android will ... moreI have been downloading Apps from Google Play Store, Galaxy Store and sometimes from certain other sites (for instance downloading Good Lock modules when they were not available in EU).
I am allowed to Pay with Samsung Pay or Google Pay, or use my NFC with any other App.
As an App developer with specialized Apps I could decide to make it available to my customers outside of any App Store, and would not need any 3rd party to dictate what I am allowed to implement into my App and what not.
I have never felt restricted neither by Google nor by Samsung.
Btw., as an anonymous writer as well as “Man or A Monster” correctly pointed out, Android is an open source OS and not a manufacturer.

Without iOS, Android will ... moreAndroid is open-source and therefore will never be a monopoly. Every comoany can change Android to their own taste without any limits.
iOS is a monopoly because it means that everyone has to okay according to Apple's rules and any so-called violation of Apple's law will be punished by Apple.
Such bs is not possible on Android because the software is not bounded to the manufacturer of the phone.

It’ll still be a one os market. But if less choice is what you all want, well the EU seems to be doing its best towards that eventuality 🤷

It's not like all have stock android to say that there wont be competition.
Praising OxygenOS but mocking OneUI while both are on android but Oneplus android is better for some reason
