128GB isn’t a lot of storage! They are doing this because
1. 128 GB is the least preferred model to purchase here in India. There are massive discounts on it to almost 10k rupees on special days but you do not see the same for 256’gb.
2. The advantage Apple will have people will be pushed towards purchasing iCloud. Considering the social world we live in the number of photos we snap day in and day out.
3. You will compromise with the number of apps and on your device. In today’s world 128 gb is not enough and it will be a stupid purchase.

Apple also thinks not bundling a charger with brand new phones and saying it's environmental is fooling people when it's clearly an attempt to wring more money out of the consumer...

128GB is not a lots of storage, but I preferred not to store "a lots of storage" on my phone, it will cost me "a lots" for backup and "a lots" of time to transfer phone (unlike most people, I trade-in phones instead of keeping them as >$1000 storage at home).
With the help of a NAS, I have keep 2/3 of 128GB phone storage free :)

I using Android with 256GB just too much, I not using much apps and not much interact on phones rather than PC. It just a phones for when needed rather than stationary that stay for longer and need a lot storage.

128 is absolutely nothing nowadays given the size of apps and 4K photos and videos.
