Lol,i ain't buying new one because there is no SD card support anymore. Why pay 1k for a 256GB storage only.

      Well 7 yrs will be way too much since phone don't actually last that long. I am still using my Galaxy Note 9 from 2018 since launch and I have changed its batter and back glass atleast 3 times. Its just my backup phone but still it works. Samsung just thinks about its software experience but doesn't predict what all things will change in upcoming 7 years. May be by 2031 people will be using rollable display phones that will be the most exciting thing. 200 mp camera will be 500 mp camera with more features and stronger hardware. I am not criticizing samsung for their longetivity but practically S24 series will be outdated and hardly anyone will have it. Besides repair parts should also be available which can be a hasel by 2031. For an average consumer 4 yrs is the most resourceful option and not more than that

        Because even Samsung knows their phones aren't worth upgrading to anymore so people will hold on to it for as long as possible lol

            If they know people are going to use it for long time why release lot of devices and then fail to keep up with the updates rather release two from each price bracket and focus on optimization and consumer grievances of those devices.

              Some people buy the flagship after two or three years, when the price drop. So still having 5 to 4 years update and support after is a very good deal compare another brand.

              And showing that Samsung is care for the old customer instead of telling the customer to buy a new flagship like other brands. Good job Samsung.

                                Where I live that have an approved repair centre and exclusively for Samsung customers you can walk in and get 1 hour service for common issues like new screen, new battery, new back glass etc

                                And their equipment can still keep the IP rating afterwards.

They offer 200 dollars of credit for a S9+, which is nearly 6 years old... And so, I plan buying a new phone, because what they ask me to change the battery of my phone is exactly 200 dollars... I'd rather have a brand-new phone in exchange

                                      1. 7 years warranty of bloated battery and overheating for having faster charging speed than samsung
                                      2. 7 years warranty of best camera result for having bigger sensor and megapixel camera than samsing
                                      3. 7 years warranty of zero buggy software and lagginess for having faster chipset than samsung for the same price of phone.

                                      Now tell me, which 7 years of warranty (from above) are given by chinese brand, smart boy?

                                      At first Samsung is going to give 7 years of updates chinese gives 3 maybe 4 which any phone can perfectly last.
                                      Samsung will maybe last 7 years as long as its get updated but hardware will be so old that even facebook updated on latest version will take whole minute or two to run properly and thats just a basic app. Something more complex like games will struggle even more.

                                      By the way since no chinese giving so many uupdates and yet they perfectly working for what they need to and offers much better specs for the price.
                                      Your so called bloated battery is a nonsense.
                                      Chinese phones for same pricing gives a lot better camera and without any issues unlike samsung which is well known for camera problems. Every month or so at least one topic is here where Samsung camera is bad and even Samsung acknowledges that.

                                      Lastly Samsung OneUI is worst among all known UIs its a serious bloatware which takes lot of disk space and ram and samsung ram management and batery endurance are pure garbage.
