One plus is right about updates. Excess updates damage the hardware because aging hw can't keep up with updated plus most oem don't provide spare parts after 4 yrs from the launch of device.

Dominated by samsung because people are too dumb and prefer brands instead of actual products. People are not tired of excuses, they become blind when making purchase prefering brand and don't think about quality. If you don't believe look at how people accept exyflop stove.

And Applel devices slowing down the more updates they get.
As to Samsung, they can boast about this in 7 years if they don't stop producing spare parts past year 2 🤣🤣. Because oled burns and batteries yeet themselves. And oh, the S24 have their screen turn into a grainy mess not even a month from release. 😅
And did I forgot to mention how they got rid of the A52S in shops when A53 dropped? 😭
So much for 5 year support for A series lmao.

And OnePlus ain't laxy. They just telling the truth since most people, including you probably, will change before half of that 7 year period ends.
But we will see on how long Sammy provides spare parts for their products. They cornered themselves into this business model and long term supported products are lost sale.

Not really futureproof, the titanium will corrode away affecting antenna, and it's signal quality.. the latter years of updates will be useless.

1. 7 years warranty of bloated battery and overheating for having faster charging speed than samsung

3. 7 years warranty of zero buggy software and lagginess for having faster chipset than samsung for the same price of phone.

Did you ask Samsung why they won't pay for the damage their software flaw made to the S21/s22 series? Which probably will happen to the next models getting 6.1 updates.
In all their official forums, Samsung avoids any interaction.
