I agree with you. Any phone that has the design of Samsung display (middle punch hole) looks beautiful, all chinese phone should copy the middle punch hole of Samsung.
The only downside of this phone is the camera island, it looks like the iPhone Pro.
Also, nothing new with retractable lens on phone. Galaxy S4 Zoom already had that, and it is a phone from 2013.

Nor have I seen complaints about it ever since on forums
It might be a concern for ip rating but I would 'it worry too much about the durability.
