My favorite part is geekbench of these phones show " operating system android 12".
But obviously no tech site would ever post the screenshot of this.

SKYNET, 18 Apr 2024Officially the crappiest phone of this year beating out Xia... moreNot at all, the performance of the phone maybe a little bit closer or on par with the Snapdragon 8 gen 1 not the 888 as it is on par with the kirin 9000s. It may be expensive but just looking how innovative this camera is, it may be worth it most specially if you are a smartphone camera centric person, plus it has a upgraded kunlun glass 2 for better protection. Finally the RYYB really makes a picture yellowish, but it is kinda rare or can only happen in specific conditions and can be fix with some minor updates, not a crappy phone but probably a very pricey one and probably the best camera phone out there. I also appreciate your kind of comment, most haters here just simply point out useless comments like lack of google support. But this is not a crap phone as you said. Plus about the sensor? Not at all also, youtube videos comparing the oppp find x7 ultra who uses a lyt 900 and the vivo x100 pro who uses an older sony imx 989 shows that vivo got an edge over oppo. You see, it is always not about the sensor yow, it is also about how the phone will utilize that sensor, you should know that Huawei is the best when it comes to photography, it just slams newer phones with better sensors. Remember tbe video on technick where he compares the p60 pro, the xiaomi 13 ultra, the 14 pro max and the s23 ultra side by side? It just floored those 3, take note that the other 3 are using new generation chipsets, new generation camera sensors and they still lose to someone who is unfairely banned due to protectionism and jealousy, huawei p60 pro may lose some but it just dominated them when it comes to photography and portrait shots. And finally about the battery a 5000+ mah battery is darn huge, why the F you think that kind of battery size is small?

David 040882, 18 Apr 2024Okay, but then why make it retractable in the first place? ... moreIt is as you've said, for saving up space. If it served any other function, it would have been advertised as such!

Please stop using the phrase "vegan leather". It makes absolutely no sense. Its just aoft plastic

It's probably because phone need bigger distance form sensor and lens because they using 1in sensor and
f1.6 aperture. For example Xiaomi 14 ultra has huge camera bump and they probably didn't want to make it that big so they made camera pop out. It looks better because camera bump isn't that huge ans it is also cool to for camera to pop out.

I'd love to see the true variable aperture on other phones! legit one of the most revolutionary camera tech in smartphone!

Anonymous, 18 Apr 20241500$ .Lol ,they must be tripping....Not at all. Almost impossible to get hold of one even for that price. People will pay more than that from resellers because there is a massive shortage of them. That's the reality in China

If it is for saving space, why not simply leave it normal, un-retractable, since the retractable camera pops out when it's turned on, anyways? It must also have another functionality

This rotating telescopic lens looks fantastic!

The retractable lens mechanism looks highly sophisticated like the inside of a Swiss mechanical watch.

That's one pretty darn expensive phone considering that's only the Chinese price and global pricing would be 200-500 dollars more expensive. What exactly is supposed to be the purpose of the retractable lens though? It seems a bit wider than normal 23 or 24 mm phones by being 22.5 mm so is it supposed to give "lossless zoom"? Lossless zoom till like 2x from a 1-inch sensor sounds stellar to me. If that's not the case then this is overpriced af
