    Excellent phones but 3 OS software support for a 1000€ phone is unnaceptable. Period, in this price range you simply have to deliver. period

      Poco x6 pro: lower IP rating than 2015 midrange sony, weaker cam system compared to moto g9+ from 2020, nfc is market dependent.

      Pointless to have SoC that has similar geekbench score of 8g1 when so many downsides are seen.
      Better using " weaker SoC" and have more budget margin to improve the rest.

          Many xiaomi branded poco/redmi complete tasks slower than motorola powered by " weaker SoC".


          Many of those high clocked mediatek with A78 at 2.8-3.2GHz are slower than chips like 7sg2, 778 and even 695 to do same tasks.

          As I have said before MiUI as MiUI or disguised as HyperOS and OneUI drag performance down.

          Even pixels can beat galaxy on tasks like video editing.

                $330 = Poco X6 Pro with mediatek 8300 (arguably better than the 8s Gen 3)
                $530 = OnePlus 12R with 8 Gen 2 (8s Gen 3 but with a better GPU)
                $800 = OnePlus 12 with flagship 8 Gen 3

                Spending $1000 on the Edge 50 Ultra is just stupid. Btw prices are from US Amazon

                  MiguelBain, 21 Apr 2024the battery 🔋 power is not strong enough. major motorola pr... moreBro have Motorola edge 40 pro which also have no 5000 mAh cell and is great enoug. by the way with 125W charger you can top up your phone in 10-15 minutes so why complain.
                  Many else phones with even more battery dont last as long and definitely not charge to 100% within 10-15 minites.
                  By the way after a year of use my Motorola edge 40 pro is at 97% battery total capacity using only fast charging capabilities and charging every day cuz i am heavy gamer.

                    if they can improve software updates policy to match other players - I would buy it.
                    I like plastic back and camera design, but don't like software updates policy, curved screen, lack of 3.5, non-replaceable battery

                      Wireless audio is the thing. And even old UFS 2.0 were a lot faster than any SD card on the market. UFS 4.0 or better is like Formula 1 vs snail.

                            The difference between 8s gen 3 and 8 gen 3 is noticeable only in paper in real life experience t will run any game or app equally fast.
                            Other your said issues are just your opinion but is not as bad as you think.

                                  And to be fair some companies already do pay you for not just taking polls but commenting too. So educate yourself on many things first, and then find out what many websites do to the results of the polls they put in front of us, cause it will open your eyes and mind on many things. No need to thank me either.

                                      S24 for example cost the same with zero accesories in box and much worse specs.
                                      Google pixel 8 pro is likely same cost even more offers way less.
                                      I can continue with many else devices from many else brands.
                                      Price is cheap compared to most other flagships on the market which apart more updates offer worse specs. And said more updates are nothing valuable. Its just consmetic or so.
                                      Hardware gets degraded over the time but you can update your apps as much as device will keep working.
                                      Also the Pantheone certification is nnot for free. Which other phone have it??? Noone same goes for said display port and few other features which no other phone have.
