Not to mention functionality will be questionable (What about equalizer/compressor apps? m4a support?).
Why would we, when 3.5mm jack is something so simple and there's no reason for its removal?
I still only buy phones with the jack, no hassles.

I've tried (Only out of curiosity - I never buy phones without 3.5mm jack, but i use an external DAC on my PC. When i tested it on my phone, it drained about 1% every 8 minutes listening to mp3s. If it is an internet-radiostation, for example, it would be twice as much, because internet traffic itself usually consumes as much).

To keep the cost down, SD4 gen 2 would be fitting. Most Chinese Android DAPS in the market use the old SD660. I would be more interested in the DAC/amp hardware inside (hoping the new ESS9069 or 9039) with some op amps thrown in there. Wish they got rid of the camera and made it a real audiophile device

It's interesting they have decided to release a DAP/Phone. Android DAPs were practically Android phones anyway and it was only a matter of time before someone combined the two.

This probably will be midrange phone because the design share a lot of similarity with their Space Travel buds..
Knowing Moondrop, they are very capable to design something that looks and feels premium... Anyway, I hope that this will be a true successor of LG V series
