Hello Vivo's camera experts!
By the way whatever you say about this Ultra's camera but here in these two photos I did not found any special clarification.
I don't know why it's smudge and full of noise .

They most likely sent out the X90 Pro+ but since it wasn't sponsored like before, mrwhosetheboss didn't even have a full video, just a short.
Then MKBHD, he hasn't reviewed a Vivo phone in like a decade or something I think. And then that guy went on to say he wasn't gonna review the Oneplus 12 because it was too similar to the old one and was just fine yet he reviews the iPhones each year and the Samsungs and says "why buy something else". How much more of a shill can you get? Discouraging competition in every way. Pathetic.

It's what makes top end camera phones unique IMO. Having a full-frame setup, even APSC, with a similar reach is much too bulky for easy use in some cases. Obviously, they don't compare in image quality but it's much more convenient to be able to pull something like this out of my pocket.

I couldn't care less about zoom. Never used it on my s22 ultra or s23 ultra. Give me a single APSC camera, rather than these gimmick lenses.

I tried, but those low resolution images are hard to judge, considering its 200mp camera, at 10x it should be around 40-50mp. If they would share a raw files, it would be more interesting.

"the vivo X100 Ultra's 200MP periscope telephoto camera, which has a focal length of 22.48mm"
That's nearly exactly what I had calculated! This means that the effective lens diameter is approximately 8.42mm, if the f-number is 2.67! That's the largest effective lens diameter of any smartphone camera (Xiaomi 14 Ultra has 7.76mm, Huawei P60 Pro has 6.93mm, Samsung S24 Ultra has 5.47mm, Google Pixel 7 Pro has 5.43mm).
This means you get
1. blurrier background objects than with any smartphone camera on the market
2. a lens that can theoretically resolve distant objects better than any smartphone lens on the market due to less diffraction
3. more light per exposure time from distant objects than with any smartphone camera on the market
Due to the high focal length and small pixel size, you would also get more pixels per object than with any smartphone camera on the market! This is necessary in order to leverage the high theoretical resolution of the lens, but the color filter array could be Tetra²pixel and this could be a huge issue, for example the Honor Magic6 Pro, which likely used a Tetra²pixel array, couldn't handle the Tetra²pixel array. So it's possible that a 200 megapixel Tetra²pixel sensor behaves more like a 50 megapixel Quad Bayer sensor, we'll see. I'd prefer a 200 megapixel Quad Bayer sensor (or even 200 megapixel Bayer sensor).
