It's expected to launch this month with a 200MP telephoto camera.

Why not 64x64 thumbnails? These are not small enough!

I think these are gonna be beast phones.

Can't wait for Mediatek to better compete with the top Snapdragon SOC. Might end up getting X100s, not sure.

xslvrxslwt, 04 May 2024Don't rush to buy it yet, because: "200Mp 1/1.... moreMy guy, you suck at taking photos on phones

xslvrxslwt, 04 May 2024Don't rush to buy it yet, because: "200Mp 1/1.... morewhat even is the point of your comment? No phone is perfect nor can it be. You can get close to perfection but never the full package. The X100 Pro seems to fulfill MOST of an average user's needs and has the optics to fulfill the needs of a pro user. Nearly everyone is at the very least content with the zoom cam of the X100 Pro and the X100 Ultra is a step above so it really is gonna be crazy.

Also how is the LYT-600 so bad? Imo it's a very decent shooter and with Oppo's mature processing, the photos come out pretty good, albeit slightly soft. Fine detail is less important than capturing the moment as it is, imo at least. Oppo's UW cam shots look like a zoomed out shot from their main cam.

If you want utter photographic perfection, don't use phones man. Try learning how to use a normal camera and use an MFT or an APS-C Mirrorless cam, easy to carry around. If you can't even do that, get Sony's RX-100. Carry it in your pocket and have fun. The purpose of a cameraphone is to fulfill all the other roles as a flagship and then also provide an amazing camera experience.

btw, if you're going to complain about the Vivo X100U not being worth the price, even though it hasn't released yet, and you're citing the S24 Ultra as a competitor you're seriously mistaken and/or likely delusional. The S24 Ultra starts sweating when it gets compared to the X100 Pro and the X100 Ultra, if it has better sensor and the same quality of processing will absolutely demolish it.

Anonymous, 04 May 2024It is weird the fact when Vivo keeps Pro+ to China, it does... moreMaybe it's because people don't think too highly of Vivo or something. They were always thought of as "the other one". Like you'll see far more Oppo and Xiaomi reviews in general than Vivo reviews.

jiyen235, 04 May 2024not many people will be making comparisons because it'... moreIt is weird the fact when Vivo keeps Pro+ to China, it does not get reviewed.
But when Oppo Find or Xiaomi Mi Ultra are China only too, they have review.

Don't rush to buy it yet, because:

"200Mp 1/1.4 "is not the end point. It was previously mentioned that some manufacturers are testing 50Mp 1/1.3" ultra large bottom periscopes. At present, the choice of imaging is mainly for heavy telephoto and main camera, and the ultra wide angle specification has been stagnant for many years."

So there's better camera systems on their way. And yes, I've tried all of them: X100 Pro, 14 Ultra, Magic6 Pro, Find X7 Ultra, Z60 Ultra, Pura70 Ultra..so I am not blindly writing this.

I'm really unhappy with OriginOS and some questionable hardware decisions: JN1 as a selfie camera (S22), LYT-600 which was proven to be worse than the current UW on X100P, HP9 will be overpowered soon enough. Speakers are not ok on X100P, as well as haptics. X100U should definitely be way better being a more expensive device, but starting 1030€ - it needs to do even better than S24U, 14U, FX7U, and sadly the price difference won't be worth it, especially knowing it does not have stuff like variable aperture (sadly 14u's stock is dogshi and gcam locked f/2.0, and all other sensors trash on it as well)

Anton .el PAPI., 04 May 2024Let the phone come out, then the comparisons will be made hahahanot many people will be making comparisons because it'll be most likely a chinese phone and most popular reviewers don't want to waste time on anything that isn't Google, Samsung or Apple. I hope GSM reviews this phone, the X90 Pro+ basically COMPLETELY flew under the radar.

                    The green is beautiful

That gray is BEAUTIFUL!! I hope vivo releases the global version of this phone

AnonD-1153580, 04 May 2024I hope it clicks the image fast , i used the Honor Magic 6 ... moreIf you use 180MP mode, obviously takes longer than 12/12.5MP.

I am legit surprised Vivo actually managed to fit an almost 23mm periscope with that giant HP9 sensor. And yes it's an HP9, which is a bit different than the HP3 that is on the market.

As for Full Frame math mumbo jumbo, the lens with the 3.78x crop from the HP9 sensor, it should result in an 85mm lens (as advertised, compared to the croped 100mm of the Pro) and a Full Frame equivalent aperture of f/10, which is really good.

It will be really interesting to see it compared to Xiaomi's double zoom solution (75 and 120mm) and Sony's 85-170mm vario periscope solution.

I want this right now! Those samples are looking excellent for a 12x zoom shot of a moving subject in low light 👌

Cant wait to see ppl here brag about the fact it does better than iphone when it has obligation to do, considering LYT900 is 70% larger than imx803 and 803 is not exmor T to reduce hardware difference.
