Subscription? I actually wanted to get this, but now not even a slight chance. Even if there is a base feature and then a subscription for premium features, this is beyond a crime and a joke.

If the ring included say 3 yrs of the subscription so basically you'd be buying a new one every 3 years a lot of people would likely be more comfortable since many want the latest hardware for one reason or another anyway.

smart phones, smart watches, smart cars and now smart jewelry- with a subscription. All of this wearable smart tech is laughable to me. I wear a simple digital watch i bought 3 years back for $15- no battery replacement yet lol, and a ring bought in 2021 for $2. Go ahead and spend that money on wearing chips and capacitors
