Only the Galaxy S25 Ultra will get a camera upgrade, S25 and S25+ to retain the same hardware

Yet another year where Samsung puts too much care and focus on the Ultra and leaves the other two models to be forgotten/ignored under the Ultra's shadow

Since most camera hardware is old now, It feels stupid that they discriminate on camera hardware on mid range & low range phones. It does not cost them that much R&D costs, components are cheap too when manufactured at scale. The camera in S22 should already be in A & M Series but no.
Camera should no longer be deciding factor between low-mid-high range. It is essential hardware and today even slow CPUs support the flagship camera hardware just fine.

Taking an overview of the last decade of smartphone innovation, I guess we are nearing the hardware stagnation yet again. This should be compared similarly to how Nokia could not figure better ways people will need more CPU & RAM, randomly stagnated around their tiny RAM thinking it was enough, and could not grasp what was coming (iOS & Android) due to their inflated sales confidence & preoccupation with Symbian.
If I am to give innovation idea to Samsung, they should borrow the below ideas from Apple's old playbook:
phone = primary camera, communication
phone ≠ video watching, gaming
example: Pixel 4a, 6a, 7a, 8a, display within 5.8" range.
tablet = gaming, taking notes, ideas, scratchpad drawing, watching videos on-the-go, video calling, social media
tablet ≠ rear camera
example: iPad Mini, display within 9" range.
laptop = everything else
display around 16"
These 3 devices make the most sense for most people. Of course this does not apply to requirements of every single person (some prefer larger than hand phones) but the above Apple setup is common sense. Large phone displays used to be "innovation" topic, not now though. Also by merging all things in phone, it has cannibalized tablet sales for Samsung & other Android makers, not for Apple. There is fixed display size for each usable role, and Apple does it best.

Zeiss actually launched mobile-specific telephoto lenses in 2024, probably at the request of Vivo. Sony doesn't use Zeiss lenses, but Vivo actually uses them for the Vivo X100 Pro's periscope telephoto and the Vivo X100 Ultra's periscope telephoto.

By your logic the Oneplus 12 is a masterpiece because it's basically like the Oneplus 8 in terms of price. Inflation increases prices yes but what Samsung is doing is not worth the price tag. I'd pay 1.4k dollars for the X100 Ultra, or the Find X7 Ultra or get myself an X Fold 3 for 1500-1700 dollars. The S24 Ultra I'd have gotten for 700-900 dollars. It's just not good enough to be so expensive. It's not great at videography like iPhones nor great at photography like iPhones, Pixels, Oppos or Vivos. It's nothing really.
Let's take a look at the Nothing Phone 2a then. Why's it so cheap and the Nothing Phone 1 is so expensive? Isn't inflation supposed to make it more expensive now? It's just bullsh*t man. Inflation may lead to a slight increase in prices but the way Samsung has high volume production and basically uses 95% of the same components each year, they're getting super low prices on these phones. The only reason they don't profit much is because they sell their phones for half the price each time due to deals and stuff. They're literally begging people to be their customers.

Samsung were worried about using the same design from there previous models and supposed to got some new designer to help improve there phones,but it looks like nothings going to change at all with S25 phone design,why are Samsung acting like this seems very odd,they are always behind when it comes fast charging,then the rumour is the S25 Ultra might cost more,so loads might keep away from the S25 Ultra,Until we see some change at Samsung

It would be stunning to see a similar zoom approach as Sony did( like a 3x-7x optical zoom).
