    LOL 1000 eur phone with only 128GB storage.
    Are they drunk???
    Even ome thing as cheap as 100 eur a Redmi 13C have an 8+256GB optiion and this is just 100 eur phone.
    They are really nuts at google.

      No storage upgrade offer price in India. Pixel phones sales in India is too low. Best leaders is Apple and Samsung. This year, the sales may further go down.

                Even with 1100€ it's a d move, pixel 7 launched at 999€ for 256GB variant and gave 400€ free pixel watch.

Read it again and please don't acuse people of spreading false information when you haven't even read the article. I quote, 'In Germany, you get the higher storage for the base price on all Pixel 9 devices, even the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. So just remember to click on the higher storage!'

Above table clearly says 16/256GB is 1199€ for pro and 1299€ for XL in Germany. That's iPhone level prices if you just add 50€ more. I guess you are confused between dollar prices and European prices.

                      Hardware and software both needs to be flagship for a flagship prices. People cried when Sony sold their phones for 1300€ with Snapdragon Chipsets. Now pixel with stupid hardware at this price range, should get same reaction.

                      No sane person should spend such money on pixels especially their battery and heat management is worse than competitors.

                      Also I personally never bought and will never buy a Chinese smartphones.

Like I said it's still a little bit expensive at that. Still apart from the processor it's basically flagship in all other areas so it's not totally crazy pricing or anything. Other flagships like the Xiaomi 14 ultra would be better but also more expensive so you also get charged more for the better hardware (the Xiaomi 14 ultra launched for 1,499 euro albeit for 512gb)

                            Flagship phone prices have become ridiculous these days.Spending $1000+ on these new phones that are barely better than prev gen seem like scam.

                            If you want flagship then better go with prev gen flagship as these canbe purchased for almost 50% price of current gen flagship.
                            Look at S24 vs S23, Pixel 9 vs 8,iPhone 15 vs 14...besides generational SoC upgrades there's nothing new in any of these phones so there's no meaning into going with current gen flagship.

Inflation?... morebetter camera yes , better software ? sure maybe but this comes with an inferior chip made by Samsung and it's ineficient and it's eating that battery and this should not be acceptable by any means in a 1000+ smartphone , for this price i really don't wanna any pixel because after 5 months they sell on eBay for like 500e and still didn't buy it because battery life it's nit there for me ,also performance it's 2 or 3 years back so why pay 1000+e ? i see no reason honestly, let inflation alone

                                256GB from other brands flagships costs just about same which is around 1200€. Pixel is doing the same nothing cheap.

                                Also pixel ain't worth that much price for their hardware.

                                        xfrqnx, 14 Aug 2024256 GB should be the base storageIkr, especially when there's no microSD card slot. But come to think about it, Sony can still give microSD card slot on Xperia 1 series despite no longer selling 128GB trim.
