Seven years of updates is overkill for smartphone, Tensor chipsets won't sustain for that long. One should not buy on that basis. Upgrade after two or three years.

                    One should forget buying S** series. Not worthy anymore. No innovation since years. They haven't done anything since Galaxy Note 7 Fiasco. Literally they have done nothing innovative except software. Charging is like stone aged charging.

                      That's because in 2024 they're still BETTER and more complete phones than all the garbage Samsung has produced since.
                      Most poeple don't give a flying flamingo about processors and refresh rates. They care about useful things.

                      Samsung knows it and they're desperate because people aren't ditching their old good phones for Samsung's newer Apple-copycat garbage.

                      They had tried this already with the last firmware update to the S10 line that ruined the battery life.
                      Since that apparently didn't work, they're now trying this. And no, I don't think this was "an accident". Presumption of good faith isn't something I afford smartphone companies.

                          No phone isn't without update issues Samsung has the least of all BUt giving how large they are they get super focused on all the time.

                            I hope some sue. This'll be funny. Teach scamsung a lesson on their prices they have no right to. Uses android and snapdragon but has Apple prices that uses their own CPU and OS? LOL. *sent via galaxy note 9.

                                        tbh, i was surprised that people were still using this. then i found out that it came out in 2019 and i am still using the poco f1 from 2018 so this kinda made more sense.
