        Why not add security that your phone still has gps and data connection with specific app to locate the device even its turn off, users can turn off those setting if they dont like it to prioritize battery. it is a lot better cause phone can find now using google account.

It doesn't help that Google services is baked into Android and you have to jump through hoops to disable all the data collection, and even then there's bound to be something you've missed.

                                I've just updated to version 24.38.34 and I see nothing theft related in the settings.

                                Could be a feature from the beta version or it requires something from the ROM. Dunno.
