This is so funny because Samsung is the biggest iSheep of them all. They made fun of iPhones for losing the headphone jack only to follow them after. They took out the memory slot to sell their cloud services just like Apple. They switched to glass backs just like Apple. They also copied using titanium on their phones. And the funniest thing is that they even copied the airpods, with their newest version of galaxy buds, oral B brush attachment looking design and all lol.

For as long as Apple remains the main focus all of the smartphone manufacturers marketing it is quite clear they know they have not come close to convincing premium buyers to get their devices over Apple’s.
Seems Samsung is still trying to capture the golden nugget that Apple has a hold on.

Reminds me of when Samsung laughed when apple removed 3.5mm and later the power brick.
Guess who followed?
Samsung makes some nice hardware, but their PR was always a childish mess.

I was a Samsung hater since Nokia. Never buy one. Presently, I am not a Samsung hater, but not a fanboy either. I just use a Samsung phone because I think its OS is more stable than others. Well, there is no official Pixel here.
I want to give an iPhone a shot, but the iPhone has been limiting its Bluetooth and NFC here. Not a hater though.

It's mostly Samsung US that do these types of marketing tactics, i'm not sure if there are other countries that Samsung does it.
