      I choose Samsung because I like Samsung products and don't like Apple products - and not because a controversial ad says that Samsung is better than Apple.

      Sure, there are some things I think Samsung does better than Apple, but - and this is coming from an Apple hater - I believe the reverse is also true. Apple really has worked hard on their phone cameras, and they also are trying to sell their own VR headset, something Samsung has since dropped out of the market of doing so. While they don't have folding phones or better AI implementation, they do have some things better and more powerful than Samsung.

      Now, I choose not to own Apple products because of my own personal preferences, as well as the many controversies and lawsuits surrounding them that don't seem to be as severe with Samsung (though I do know about the criminal that worked for Samsung - IIRC he was fired after being found out), but even so, I believe in Samsung as a company.

      That said, no company is perfect. Nobody at all here on Earth is perfect. Therefore, I don't hate anybody who chooses Apple over Samsung.

          Ironic, considering Samsung was copying Apple's designs.

            Yeah exactly right, do your own thing, buy whatever phone you want, whether it's from Samsung, Apple, Realme, Redmi, vivo or anything else, it doesn't matter.

                  Says the company with the second most phone sales. Wow so unique, you have the same phone brand as every fifth person you see on the street.

                  Also, what is this weird ahh messaging? Being different for the sake of being different? „All other cars have circular wheels. Boring! Ours are unique, we have rectangular wheels! Buy now!“ This is like a parody of marketing instead of real marketing. How about they start thinking about why they are falling behind in sales instead of producing these bitter and goofy ads.

                            Their only saving graces are the flip and the fold because Apple doesn't have those yet. Enjoy your lead in those 2 segments while it lasts. If Apple decides to embark on that same journey, Samsung is going to lose that market lead.

                            I think it's kind of a genius ad, to be fair. Egging your competitor to create foldable devices and thus securing the order for foldable displays from your competitor.

                              I have a theory on why Samsung still makes ads mocking Apple, it is because Apple payed them to do so. Okay but seriously, Samsung making fun of Apple isn't new, they been doing this since the launch of the S2. The older ads actually worked because Samsung was actually doing something different, but their newer ads (circa 2020-2021) don't really work anymore and it's quite cringe.

                                Funny ad and yes some apple users just buy the iphone for show off.

                                  Ah yes, the newer iphones look identical to the previous model and are boring so let me pull out my zfold 4.2 to show off.

                                    Good to hear, but nothing to do. Scamsung now a days is worsening. Samsung is manufacturing Pathetic phone except Ultra series.

                                      Apple is still good when compared to Samsung's scrappy chip.

                                        What I have noticed is SAMSUNG US and SAMSUNG South Korea where SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS are manufactured have different views. SAMSUNG US wants a challenge but SAMSUNG, Korea keeps copying apple, causing SAMSUNG to shoot itself in the foot. Something needs to be done, this is ridiculous. I am a SAMSUNG fan, but there is no one product from Samsung that beats Apple except TV's, NAND flash, ram and SSD's that's about it.
