    Don't get me wrong, I'm a big Xiaomi fan; I imported the first 10K battery here several years back in Belgium and then a lot of the 'slim' model with different colors and they were a big hit, fairly priced, (high mark up possible at times haha) and it was great advertisement for them due to the quality and reliabity.
    But now? Ads, blotawares and subpare HyperOS. That's why I didn't invest 1.5K in 13 Ultra and kept my S23U, really, REALLY wanted to buy them though. I think next would be Xperia if they get it right with Xperia 1 Mark 6.

          Definitely overdue. The Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 15 are significantly worse than all the competition in terms of long range zoom capabilities. The OPPO find x6, x7 and x8 all had periscopes and the Vivo x100 and x200. Even Realme's flagships have better zoom. The Xiaomi 14 and 15 still sell much better than the others though so maybe that's why Xiaomi doesn't feel the need to upgrade. Hope they put a decent sensor on it too (at least an imx882/LYT600) and not just the JN5. It'll be a very well rounded camera system for a relatively compact phone, if they put a good quality 3x periscope on it.

                      Il felt bad compared to the video of the chinese version that seems way better.
                      In the global version, HyperOS seems subpar and with the OneUI overhaul the copycat iOS isn't worth it anymore.
                      Time to find it's own identity ;)

                                To be honest, as a photographer, I prefer the vertical telephoto over periscope as it allows for much closer focusing distance. The telephoto that was on my Mi 14 Pro was a macro monster

                                  A bigger headphone jack is better than bigger cameras and screens.
