That's why iQOO can release the Neo9S Pro for global and compete with Poco.. I can say it's better than X7 Pro.

Basically it's a similar level to the OV64b on the Poco x6 pro. Sure the battery is better but that's about it. It's certainly nice to have the IP rating but it's not that useful in terms of daily usage. Have you ever had a phone fail because of water damage? Yeah older phones have a weaker battery but for example the Poco F6 will likely be a good bit cheaper (currently 25k). Same cameras, similar chip and screen. Yes, a weaker battery. Battery size is the disadvantage of Olde phones. Where I am in China you can get the Iqoo neo 9s pro for around the same price as the Chinese version Turbo 4. Dimensity 9300+, far superior imx920 main camera, 50mp ultrawide. LTPO screen, ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. The only disadvantage would be the 5160mAh battery but you get faster 120w charging

            I prefer to get best performance for the money. I rather have good performance and less OS updates then get the bottom middle class performance like these 7s gen 2/3 and 7 OS updates while the 5th OS update already starts to slow the phone down so much that you want to buy new phone

              Everyone complain about build quality on every plastic phone from what ever brand. The phrase as "Build Quality" have changed the meaning of what that actually means.

              A lot of phones have more clew in them then they use screws to hold parts together but when the phones are from some specific brand then your kind dont even question the build quality.

              Sadly we cant post pictures in this comments section or otherwise i would do pictures on my Redmi Note 5 Ai Dual Cam that is like 6 and half years old while basically looks like new for this build quality point

                ximiximi, 04 Jan 2025will they give warranty over water damage then?I dont think any brand give you that on water damage. It's same as when you drop a phone and screen gets broken as that wont be something that goes under warranty.

It has a new camera sensor and supports 4K/60. Overall, it's a pretty good upgrade from the X6 Pro.

Don't know if it will get a global release but there's bound to be competition in Q1. There always is. There will always be older phones too which often offer good value relative to the newer ones. The x7 pro though seemsmuch better offering value wise than the overpriced Turbo 4. Indian pricing seems to be pretty good (depending on which storage models are under 30k).

I've heard all the stories about motherboard issues but haven't had it myself and honestly haven't seen a phone in last 2-3 years that has made me want to upgrade. I prefer the IPS screen over amoled (could be brighter my only complaint) batteries still enough for days use if don't spend all day on it and has all the features I need in a phone. Admit I'm not a power user but I honestly think new phones wouldn't do anything more than I need. Cameras ok for me stereo speakers IR blaster Snapdragon 860 still performing great. I'm sure new phones are better obviously but while android 13 is couple of updates old now it still works as it should. Having said all that I like the look of these phones and would definitely buy another Poco phone when need one.

                              We are getting closer to the 10,000 nit peak brightness of Rec 2020. My guess is maybe 3-4 years until it‘s reached. That would also be the case if improvements continued to be as big as from X6 to X7, but I think it makes sense to calculate in a bit more time, because new record values at the top end happen slower, but once achieved, they reach the mid end fast.
