This is in fact NOT the x200 ultra

Panino Manino, 08 Jan 2025Size is not everything like Huawei proves with every new ge... moreNo it's not

Koishi Komeiji, 08 Jan 2025in Weibo about allegedly X200 Ultra leak, This is NOT actua... moreYes, the Ultra is still like 4 months away, its design is likely not even finalised yet

Let's just hope that image quality at 35 mm with the 1/1.28-inch sensor will be at least as good as a 35mm cropped image from the Vivo X100 Ultra's one-inch sensor.
Kudos to Vivo for implementing 35mm main lens anyway !

looks like they already have an ND filter on it lol, looks the same as the X100 Ultra and that's not a knock on this phone, I think the X100 Ultra was stunning.

Camera bump is awfully big tho, like the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, i wish they had gone for larger batteries OR a better vibration motor. Fill out the space so that the bump seems less pronounced and people actually get a better product.

But ig the phone would be too bulky then considering the fact that the zoom cam here is larger than the OP13/Find X8 Pro's main cam and the main/UW cams of this phone are gonna be larger than the S24 Ultra's main cam.

Anonymous, 08 Jan 2025nasa cameras and dslr cameras work too different from phone... morePhones add crap A.I to jpegs, cameras do not.
DSLR barely exist now. Majority is mirrorless.

Dual layer can indeed increase 100% light intake.
But vivo is one of many that do not pay extra for this.
Downgrade is to save money and allow larger super wide ( least used camera).

AUTHORITY, 08 Jan 2025Sensor size does not determine image quality. Good processi... moreFrom 1/1.43" to 1/1.56" is small difference.
                    Type 1.0 is 70% larger than 1/1.28".
This website has side by side samples of 100 ultra x 200 pro.
                    200 pro got humiliated easily.
                    Software cannot overcome .

2025 and still not have single APSC camera ( they are most sold) that can even match quality from full frame from 2010.
                    2025 , no phone can beat old rx100 mk7 from 2019.

Noise reduction, sharpening and extra contrast do not make photos any better. But worse.

Waiting vivo to tell influencers in China and famous youtubers to claim downgrade to LYT 818 does not make any difference when it does.
X100u wipes floor with 200 pro. Even periscope does better ( same hp9) because of Qualcomm 's ISP over MediaTek's.

useless if it's china only(with a lot of limitations in Europe- no android auto, no b20 support, chinese bloatware)

Hope it launches cheaper than iphone 16 pro max. Hoping to upgrade this year from a vivo y22 . It's gonna be a massive jump

AUTHORITY, 08 Jan 2025I never said sensor size is not important. I said it's... moreSize is not everything like Huawei proves with every new generation, but size have its benefits.

And no, the iPhone 5x sensor is bigger than that.

Tiramisu , 08 Jan 2025Hello, If you were to choose between this, the global x200 ... moreS25 ultra. Easily. Well that's because aside from camera specs samsung phone is always the full package of android smartphones. Plus dex. I love it.

IMX363, 08 Jan 2025Interesting choice. It may prove to be a wrong one, beca... moreYou think? 35mm is a gold standard in the photography world together with 50mm and 85mm, everything below 35mm is considered ultrawide. Now let's think about it, didn't we have an article some time ago that said they -spied- surveyed chinese phone users, so like tens of millions of smartphone users, and concluded the ultrawide is the most unused camera. If they made the main cam view angle narrower wouldn't that make people use the ultrawide more? It would also benefit the overall image quality especially in this big sensor set up where the ultrawide would easily cover a crop up to 28mm, then the main would do the same up to 70mm for example, a 2x crop basically, then the telephoto covers the 85mm to whatever. Pretty logical decision if you ask me.

in Weibo about allegedly X200 Ultra leak, This is NOT actually X200 Ultra.

but this is actually should be X200 Pro Satellite Communication version (V2405DA)
